The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 18 June 2026 to Question 9972 on Theft: Freight, how many prosecutions were brought under the Theft Act 1968 relating to freight or cargo theft in each of the last five years for which data is available.

Prosecution data for Theft Act 1968 offences is not recorded in a way that enables freight or cargo theft to be identified separately.
