Road Traffic Offences: Convictions
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many convictions there were for each of the 72 DVLA driving conviction and offence codes in each of the last five years.
Answered by Jake Richards
The Ministry of Justice publishes data on convictions for a variety of offences including motoring offences, in the Outcomes by Offences tool, that can be downloaded from the Criminal Justice Statistics landing page here: Criminal justice statistics quarterly - GOV.UK.
The number of convictions related to specific offences can be accessed by navigating to the ‘Overall Volumes’ tab and filtering the “HO offence code” drop down to the chosen offence.
