The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, what plans he has for tyre manufacture for electric vehicles when butyl is no longer available from fossil fuel sources.

Through the Government’s modern Industrial Strategy, we are supporting resilient and innovative automotive supply chains, including the materials needed for zero emission vehicle manufacturing.There are no plans to limit the use of Butyl.
