The £95,000 payment in question was made to Market Operator Services Ltd for the administration of the Water Efficiency Cambridgeshire Fund.
The fund will support non-household customers in the Cambridge Water Resource Zone to reduce water use through practical, innovative, and measurable water savings and efficiency projects.
It is part of the government’s wider Water Efficiency Programme that aims to address water scarcity and support sustainable growth in Greater Cambridge.
