To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 24 April 2026 to Question 126643 on Type 45 Destroyers: Guided Weapons, whether the cost of delivering and manufacturing the Capability Two upgrade has been negotiated.

The cost of delivering and manufacturing Sea Viper Evolution Capability Two has not yet been negotiated. Capability Two remains in the assessment phase to inform future capability and investment choices, and the associated delivery and manufacturing costs will be negotiated in due course.
