To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment she has made of the impact of specialist workforce shortages on delivery of the Airspace Modernisation Strategy.

The department recognises the importance of specialist skills in delivering modernised airspace and is working closely with the Civil Aviation Authority to monitor and address any potential shortages. The new UK Airspace Design Service will help focus resources where they are most needed and could ultimately become a centre of excellence for airspace design.
