To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of trends in the number of people hospitalised by deep vein thrombosis in the last 10 years.

The Department has not made a specific assessment. The following table shows a count of Finished Admission Episodes in hospitals in England where there was a primary diagnosis, or any diagnosis, of 'deep vein thrombosis' for activity between 2015/16 and 2025/26:
