Asylum: MOD Bicester

Asked by Calum MillerLiberal DemocratHome OfficeTabled Answered 2 July 2026UIN 14101

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will publish any site assessment, risk assessment, equality impact assessment and value-for-money assessment prepared in relation to the proposed use of MoD Bicester for asylum accommodation.

Answered by Alex Norris

The Home Office undertakes appropriate due diligence when considering potential asylum accommodation sites, including assessment of suitability, deliverability, safety, and planning. We do not routinely publish internal assessments relating to sites. Costs will be reported through the Department’s Annual Report and Accounts in the usual way.
