To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people have been removed from the UK following the exhaustion of all asylum and immigration appeal rights since 5 July 2024.

The information requested is not currently available from published statistics, and the relevant data could only be collated and verified for the purpose of answering this question at disproportionate cost.
The Home Office publishes statistics on returns from the UK in the ‘Immigration System Statistics Quarterly Release’. The latest data on asylum-related returns, is available in table Ret_05 of the ‘Returns summary tables’. The latest data goes up to the year ending March 2026.
Asylum-related returns relate to cases where there has been an asylum claim or further submission at some stage prior to the return. This will include asylum seekers whose asylum claims have been withdrawn, refused and who have exhausted any rights of appeal, those returned under third-country provisions, as well as those granted asylum/protection but removed for other reasons (such as criminality).
