The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 17 June 2026 to Question 1255, how many maritime cyber security workshops have officials from her Department delivered overseas since 4 July 2024; what the destination was of each workshop; what the total cost was of each workshop; how many departmental officials attended each workshop; and what the grade was of each official who attended.

Answered by Simon Lightwood

The Department for Transport has delivered the following maritime cyber security workshops overseas since 4 July 2024. In many instances, these workshops were part of a wider programme of activity which took place over a number of days. The location of the countries have been removed on national security grounds. Disclosing the countries worked with would not be in the public interest due to the impact on both the UK’s national security and national security interests of international partners.

The workshops are shown alongside a breakdown of costs, number of officials attending and their grade.
