To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps she is taking to support the uptake of electric and zero-emission vehicles.

The Government is investing £7.5 billion to support industry and drivers to switch to zero emission vehicles, including the £2 billion Electric Car Grant which has helped over 135,000 drivers choose a sustainably manufactured zero emission car. A further £877 million has been committed to the Zero Emission Van Grant and Zero Emission Truck Grant until 2030, to support traders and businesses to transition and cut their dependency on volatile fossil fuels. We work closely with industry to address concerns and misconceptions about electric vehicles and promote consumer confidence.
