To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many contracts have been issued as part of the Defence Investment Plan as of 1 July 2026.

The Defence Investment Plan (DIP), published on 30 June 2026, sets out the Ministry of Defence's investment priorities through to 2029-30. The publication of the Plan followed significant preparatory work to prioritise investment, develop programmes and prepare procurement activity for delivery. Since publication, the Department has continued to advance these programmes through established approvals and commercial processes.
