Homelessness
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of trends in the level of homelessness across England.
Answered by Alison McGovern
Homelessness is far too high, but the government’s National Plan to End Homelessness sets out the steps that we are taking to get back on track to ending homelessness. The government publishes quarterly data including the number of households in temporary accommodation broken down by English region on gov.uk here. You can access the most recent quarterly data here. The number of households in temporary accommodation by region is included in table TA1.
