The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 8 June 2026 to Question 5349 on Sustainable Communities Act 2007, when was the last (a) proposal submitted to the Secretary of State and (b) invitation

Answered by Alison McGovern

The last proposal submitted under the Sustainable Communities Act 2007 was in November 2019. The government issued the second invitation to local authorities to submit proposals under the Act in 2010, and that invitation remains open.
