The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what size of workforce will be required to build the (a) Type 91, (b) Type 92, (c) Type 93, (d) Type 94 and (e) Common Combat Vessel.

The Defence Investment Plan set out the Royal Navy’s future approach to a family of autonomous and hybrid naval capabilities, including the Type 91, Type 92, Type 93 and Type 94 systems, alongside the Common Combat Vessel.

Construction schedules and workforce requirements for these capabilities will be determined as the programmes progress through their concept and assessment phases.
