Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office: Public Expenditure

Asked by Alex BurghartConservativeForeign, Commonwealth and Development OfficeTabled Answered 9 July 2026UIN 15414

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, With reference to the answer of 16 April 2026, to Question 124809, on FCDO: Inter Mediate, and with reference to the publication, FCDO: departmental spending over £25,000, for what reason the last published transparency return for FCDO spending data was on February 2025 for the period of January 2025.

Answered by Seema Malhotra

Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) spending transparency data for the period since January 2025 has been delayed as a result of the transition to a new reporting process, but will be published in the normal way in due course.

Such delays are not unusual. For example, spending data for the entire period from June 2022 to October 2024 was only published for the first time on 28 November 2024.
