Asked by Neil Duncan-JordanLabourForeign, Commonwealth and Development OfficeTabled Answered 10 July 2026UIN 15601

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether she has carried out an impact assessment on the decision to further reduce the Official Development Aid budget.

Answered by Chris Elmore

There has been no further reduction in the budget for Official Development Assistance (ODA) since the announcement by HM Treasury in Spending Review 2025 of department spending allocations up to 2028/29, published on 11 June 2025. A full Equality Impact Assessment of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) ODA allocations was published in March 2026.
