The Home Office does not routinely collect or publish crime statistics for specific location types such as high streets and has therefore not made estimates of the number of high-street related crimes in England, Essex, or South Basildon and East Thurrock in 2025.
The Home Office collects and publishes information on the number of notifiable offences recorded by the police in England and Wales. This information is published as official statistics each quarter. The latest information, to the year ending December 2025, can be accessed here:
