Multi-academy Trusts
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what assessment she has made of the potential impact of multi-academy trusts on the autonomy of individual schools.
Answered by Georgia Gould
Multi-academy trusts are partnerships of schools. They are at their best when they combine the collective capacity of the group with the diversity of the component individual schools. We are committed to enhancing the local responsiveness of trusts in a system which is geographically coherent.
