Baroness Casey of Blackstock

Asked by Charlie DewhirstConservativeDepartment of Health and Social CareTabled Answered 8 July 2026UIN 15562

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will publish Baroness Casey's status as a Direct Ministerial Appointment, including her remuneration, on the Direct Ministerial Appointments portal on gov.uk.

Answered by Stephen Kinnock

We do not intend to update Baroness Casey's status and her remuneration on the GOV.UK website portal.

Baroness Casey’s appointment and the Terms of Reference were published in line with the guidance in force at the time. There is no requirement in the updated guidance to publish appointments made prior to its introduction.

As the commission into adult social care is independent, it is responsible for reporting on its financial expenditure and will be doing so in due course.
