The Employment Rights Act will benefit over 18 million workers across the country, including those in the creative sector . Changes include ending one-sided flexibility for workers on zero-hours or similar contracts by introducing a right to guaranteed hours.

Our Creative Industries Sector Plan sets out how we will support the creative industries to tackle barriers to growth and maximise opportunities across the sector.

We are committed to working with industry to foster resilience, productivity and diversity in this workforce, while recognising the importance of freelancers in sustaining the sector’s dynamism.
