To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, with reference to the Department for Business and Trade's press release entitled UK to secure critical minerals boosting economic resilience and cutting reliance on imports, published on 22 June 2026, which projects are expected to receive funding through the (a) Magnet Hub, (b) Critical Minerals Accelerator and (c) Demand Aggregation Platform.

The Department for Business and Trade is investing £50 million through the Critical Minerals Programme to boost domestic production, support high-value jobs and reduce the UK’s reliance on overseas imports. This programme supports delivery of both the UK Critical Minerals Strategy and Industrial Strategy.
The scheme guidance for the Magnet Hub has been published, while further details on the Critical Minerals Accelerator and Demand Aggregation Platform will be outlined over the summer in line with the 22 June announcement. As not all funding competitions have launched or concluded, no decisions have been made on which projects will receive support.
