To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if she will make it her Department's policy to (a) reduce and (b) reform stamp duty.

The Government keeps all tax policy under review and any changes are announced at fiscal events.
Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) continues to be an important source of Government revenue, raising around £14 billion each year to help pay for the essential services the Government provides.
