Asked by Sir John HayesConservativeMinistry of JusticeTabled Answered 14 July 2026UIN 15919

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what is the (a) total and (b) annual cost to the public purse of the Judicial and Legal Diversity Board.

Answered by Sarah Sackman

The Judicial and Legal Diversity Board does not have a separate budget and there is no identifiable total or annual cost to the public purse attributable to the Board.

The Board is supported by existing Ministry of Justice and Judicial Office staff, and its activities are delivered within existing departmental and Judicial Office resources. No additional annual running costs are currently expected beyond minimal incidental expenses.
