In the same time period, 18 direct ministerial appointments have been made, which have been publicly announced, including on gov.uk and the Cabinet Office’s direct ministerial appointments website. There were an additional 25 joint unregulated ministerial appointments made in January 2025 by the Secretary of State for DCMS and the Foreign Secretary.
