The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether he plans to update building regulations to require property flood resilience measures in new homes built in areas at risk of flooding.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer given to Question UIN 81948 on 21 October 2025. The government has no plans to update Building Regulations to require further property flood resilience in new homes.
