Railways: North East Hampshire

Asked by Alex BrewerLiberal DemocratDepartment for TransportTabled Answered 10 July 2026UIN 16245

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how much her Department has spent on rail infrastructure in North East Hampshire constituency in each of the last five years.

Answered by Simon Lightwood

The Department for Transport does not routinely record or report rail infrastructure expenditure by parliamentary constituency. Rail infrastructure investment is delivered primarily through Network Rail programmes and is allocated, monitored and published at route, regional or national level rather than by constituency. Therefore, information for North East Hampshire for each of the last five years is not held in the requested format.
