To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether the number of major contracts awarded this year will exceed the average of the last 10 years.

The Ministry of Defence’s number of contracts, including major contracts, has remained relatively stable and consistent, with a slight increase observed in 2023. This trend is expected to continue into 2026.
