RAF Barnham

Asked by Rupert LoweRestore BritainHome OfficeTabled Answered 15 July 2026UIN 17127

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether residents at MoD Barnham will be provided with a) English language classes, b) vocational training, c) internet access, d) gym facilities, e) sports facilities, f) entertainment services or organised excursions; and what the cost of each provision will be.

Answered by Alex Norris

The Government is considering whether to sue MoD Barnham for asylum accommodation. No final decision has been taken.

If the site is taken forward, any activity provision, including where it would be delivered, would be considered as part of the operating model and ongoing suitability assessments.
