The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 30 June 2026 to Question 12785 on Cabinet Manual, if he will work with the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Select Committee and Lords Constitution Committee to ensure scrutiny of revisions to the Cabinet Manual.

As outlined in the Written Ministerial Statement made by the Prime Minister about updating the Cabinet Manual on 2 June (HCWS78), the Government will seek feedback from the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee in the House of Commons and the Constitution Committee in the House of Lords on draft text.
