Asked by David SimmondsConservativeMinistry of Housing, Communities and Local GovernmentTabled Answered 17 July 2026UIN 17449

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, further to MHCLG: spending over £25,000, April 2026, published on 30 June 2026, what the reason was for the receipt from the Greater London Authority, Ref: 3700024963.

Answered by Matthew Pennycook

The funding in question was returned to MHCLG by the Greater London Authority under the Local Authority Housing Fund. Returned funding is reallocated to local authorities in England to deliver council owned accommodation.
