Personal Independence Payment Assessment Review

Asked by Mr Andrew SnowdenConservativeDepartment for Work and PensionsTabled Answered 17 July 2026UIN 17850

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether he plans to publish all the evidence submitted to the Timms Review, subject to data protection requirements.

Answered by Sir Stephen Timms

The steering group published its interim report on 9 July, which sets out the Review’s approach to evidence gathering and engagement and what it has heard so far. The report was published together with a summary of the 38,000 Call for Evidence responses received and an Evidence Pack which DWP has provided to the Review.

It is for the steering group to decide on the contents of its final report which will be published in the autumn and make recommendations to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.
