Air Ambulance Services

Asked by David ReedConservativeDepartment of Health and Social CareTabled Answered 14 July 2026UIN 901007

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department is taking to help support air ambulance services.

Answered by Preet Kaur Gill

Air ambulance charities are a lifeline to communities across the country, and I want to celebrate the extraordinary volunteers who keep these services flying.
We are working closely with them to strengthen safety measures for helipads, as well as supporting fuel resilience, as part of regular contingency planning.
