Palliative Care
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what progress he has made on ensuring the adequate provision of palliative care.
Answered by Stephen Kinnock
This government is launching a new framework this autumn to fix unfair gaps in palliative care and end-of-life care.
The framework, being developed with a range of stakeholders, will tackle rising demand, help identify patient needs much earlier, and makes sure everyone receives the high-quality support they deserve.
These actions aim to eliminate postcode lotteries so that standards of care no longer depend on where you live.
