Asked by Stuart AndersonConservativeMinistry of DefenceTabled Answered 2 September 2026UIN 19090

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what progress the Defence Cyber and Electromagnetic Force has made since its establishment in November 2025.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

The Defence Investment Plan has allocated a total investment of £2.5 billion over the next four years to sustain and develop the new Defence Cyber & Electromagnetic Force (DCEMF).

Work continues to scale capability and workforce, including the stand-up of new venture teams to establish several new-to-Defence capabilities, including the nucleus of a Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Centre, as DCEMF matures.
