The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, if he will make his policy to review the business appointment provisions of the Gambling Commission as part of the response to the Ethics and Integrity Committee’s July 2026 submission to the Government on business appointment rules.

Answered by Cabinet Office

The Ethics and Integrity Commission’s review makes no recommendations or findings specific to the business appointment provisions of the Gambling Commission.

As set out in the terms of reference, the Government will consider the report’s findings and present the Government’s response to Parliament in due course thereafter.
