The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, with reference to the written statement of 30 June 2026, HCWS165, on Defence funding update, what reductions in programme spending will be made to (a) deliver further savings and (b) reduce departmental capital budgets by one per cent.

The savings are a small part of DESNZ's overall budget, which saw a significant uplift at Spending Review.
