The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 13 July 2026 to question 16360, how many requests for MACA tasks were a) rejected, b) withdrawn and c) reduced in scope in the last 12 months.

From January to July 2026, Defence received 33 Military Aid to the Civil Authorities (MACA) requests. 16 requests have been successfully delivered, five have been withdrawn, two rejected, and two cancelled. The remaining requests are currently open and progressing through the MACA process. In 2025, four MACAs were withdrawn and three were cancelled, 88 were delivered.
