The question

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the answer of 13 July to question 16362, a) what was the drawdown from the Civil Contingencies Fund in 2024/25 and 2025/26 to date and b) what proportion of that drawdown was recovered from the individual departments.

The Contingencies Fund (formerly known as the Civil Contingencies Fund) is a long-standing Treasury fund that enables HM Treasury to make repayable cash advances to government departments and certain public bodies to meet urgent cash requirements pending parliamentary approval of funding.
