Treaties: Parliamentary Scrutiny
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the answer of 19 June 2026 to Question 8786 on Treaties: Parliamentary Scrutiny, whether her Department centrally holds information on international agreements signed by her Department since July 2024.
Answered by Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
Treaties are recorded online at https://treaties.fcdo.gov.uk/responsive/app/consolidatedSearch/ where it is possible to search by country. It has not been the practice, either before or after 4 July 2024, for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to maintain a central list of Non-Legally Binding Instruments, and going department-by-department or country-by-country to collate such a list now is something that could only be done at a disproportionate cost.
