The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if she will make it her policy to support the development of open data, across-council, look-up database or search facility for councillor contact details, and consult on the issue through the UK National Action Plan for Open Government process.

Councils are responsible for determining how they publish and provide access to information about their elected members. Government has no plans to consult on a change to this approach.
