The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, pursuant to the answer of 30 June 2026, to Question 12787, on Government Departments: Public Appointments, and to the answer of 22 June 2026, to Question 9334, on DSIT: Public Appointments, if he will make it his policy to state which direct ministerial appointments since July 2024 have made a declaration of political activity.

There are no plans to change policy. Direct Ministerial Appointments are made in line with relevant Cabinet Office guidance and publicly announced.
