Continued close collaboration with the European Union on intellectual property policy remains a priority for the government to help support wider economic growth across the whole of the UK.
The Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade and the Intellectual Property Office continues to engage with the European Union across intellectual property policy areas within their remit which includes copyright, patents, trade marks, designs and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
