The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether Ministerial meetings with Labour Together and Think Labour are classified as meetings with external organisations that should be listed in quarterly transparency returns.

Answered by Cabinet Office

The Ministerial Code sets out principles for Ministers on meetings with external organisations. Supplementary guidance published by the Cabinet Office requires where a Minister meets an external organisation or individual in an official capacity, details of these meetings must be declared.

This guidance can be accessed at the following link: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/ministers-overseas-travel-and-meetings-publication-guidance/ministers-overseas-travel-and-meetings-publication-guidance.
