Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government: Buildings
The question
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 20 July 2026 to Question 12715 on Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government: Buildings, if she will publish the Government Property Agency Plan for London strategy documentation; and which departments and agencies have agreed to move to 2 Marsham Street.
Answered by Cabinet Office
The Plan for London strategy is delivered through a series of non-GMPP (Government Major Projects Portfolio) projects to close leasehold buildings and oversee associated moves, which are managed in conjunction with the impacted departments, agencies and OGP (Office for Government Property in Cabinet Office). Due to commercial-sensitivity in these projects, we will not be publishing the details in full.
Following the future relocation of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to the Government Offices Great George Street, the vacated space at 2 Marsham Street will be occupied by organisations associated with the exit from 102 Petty France, reducing Government's central London office footprint and running costs.
