The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, with reference to the FCDO Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26, HC521, of 16 July 2026, page 46, how many FCDO staff were dismissed in 2025-26 following SEAH complaints.

Answered by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) continues to take safeguarding concerns extremely seriously, and where allegations are upheld, take robust disciplinary action.

In the financial year 2025-2026, 12 FCDO staff were dismissed for Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) misconduct.
