The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how much funding is being provided to the British Council in (a) 2026-27 and (b) 2027-28 for it to act as the lead authority on Erasmus+.

National Agencies receive a financial contribution from the European Commission towards the costs of managing the implementation of the Erasmus+ programme. National Authorities are responsible for ensuring that National Agencies have the resources they need to fulfil their functions, including through national co-financing where required.
