Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office: Flags
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, with reference to the answer of 18 November 2024, to Question 13326, on Government Departments: Flags, what flags are owned by FCDO in its London offices, according to information held by the department or the Government Property Agency.
Answered by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office
For flags flown externally on the roof flag poles of King Charles Street we hold the Union flag, the Ukraine national flag, the flags of the British Overseas Territories and certain international organisations including, the Commonwealth, International Criminal Court, the United Nations (UN) and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). We also hold the Armed Forces Day flag and the Rainbow flag. There is no central register held of other flags owned within the Department building, however, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) geographic departments hold flags for their respective countries or states.
