The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to her Department's document entitled PPN 026: The social value model, published on 5 August 2026, and with reference to the Cabinet Office transparency data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for government’s most important contracts, whether she intends that existing social value key performance indicators in Government contracts will also be amended or renegotiated to reflect the targets in the new guidance.

The Cabinet Office will publish detailed guidance on the application of social value criteria in central government procurement in the autumn before the new measure comes into force on 1 January 2027.
