The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, if she will set out the source of funding for the Erasmus+ programme in the 2027/28 academic year, including additional Resource Departmental Expenditure Limit and funding from other budget lines including higher education; and whether devolved administrations have any liability for the cost.

The UK has committed to associating to the Erasmus+ programme in 2027.

Erasmus+ costs were scored at Spring Statement. As reported in the Office for Budget Responsibility’s Economic and Fiscal Outlook of March 2026, £0.6 billion has been allocated in 2027-28.
